Japanese Graphic Design: Not In Production is an essay written by Ian Lynam in response to the 2011 exhibition Graphic Design: Now In Production. The essay critiques the fact that important work from countries other than the US, especially Asia, are largely missing from the conversation.
To highlight these design from unsung countries, I turned the essay into an atlas exhibiting influential Asian graphic design.
