The Berlin International Film Festival, or Berlinale, is one of the world’s most prestigious and politically engaged film festivals. Founded in 1951, it takes place annually in Berlin, Germany, attracting filmmakers, industry professionals, and cinephiles from around the globe. The new visual system reflects how Berlinale illuminates new stories and perspectives, bringing hidden ideas and emotions into view. The graphic language revolves around light and projection, exploring the interplay between focus and blur.
